Orientation Programme for Postgraduate Students

A Report

An Orientation programme was organized by the Department of  Economics for all the Post Graduate students on August 13 , 2015.

The programme started with final year students sharing their summer internship experience with the first year post graduate students. They gave presentations which threw light on where all and how to apply for internships. Links to various internship websites were shared with the first year students. This interactive session was appreciated by the students of both years.

Copies of syllabus of various PG courses were given to the students. Detailed information regarding Dissertation was given by Dr Nidhi Sharma, Head, Department of Economics. Students were also allotted their respective supervisors for the same.

A feedback form, pertaining Departmental & University Orientation Programmes, was distributed to all the students present. The session ended after collecting the duly filled-in forms from the students.
