            A Report                             

 

The Department of Economics, IIS (deemed to be university), organized “ALUMNAE INTERACTION 2022-2023” for P.G. students on 6th February 2023. The interaction started at 11:15 a.m. Dr. Vaishali Gupta introduced alumnae to all the students. Four students who have cleared NET exam were present. The interaction was mainly focused on the preparation strategy for NET JRF exam.

Anisha Jain started the interaction by discussing the exam pattern of NET Exam. She said that the exam consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. She also discussed the basic details of the exam like time-duration etc.

Then Apeksha Sharma who has qualified JRF shared her strategy that consistency was the most important factor which helped her in clearing the exam, she also discussed the major topics which cover higher weightage in the exam.

Later, Aastha Sain did one on one interaction with the students. She mainly encouraged students to not take exam as a very difficult task, rather approach it with a positive attitude. According to her, hard work and constant efforts in the right direction is the key to success.

Jyoti Meena was very friendly in her interaction with the attendees. She added that no coaching can replace self-study. She discussed important topics related to Indian Economy and brought everyone’s attentions towards current affairs including the annual budget.

This session was extremely informative for all those students who wish to appear for the upcoming UGC NET/JRF examination. It inspired all the attendees to put in their best efforts to qualify this exam with flying colors.
