A special lecture was organized by the Department of Economics on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.The topic of lecture was ‘Research Methodology by MS Excel’.

 The faculty members, research scholars and students of MA/Msc and BA/BSc(Hons)  students attended the lecture. Prof C. R. Bishnoi was the speaker and he discussed the use of MS excel in the hypothesis testing .

He explained basic concepts of hypothesis testing and then trained the participants to use parametric and non-parametric tests with the help of MS Excel. The researchers use these tests in Ph.D. thesis, dissertation and their research work, so the training was very useful.
