Special Lecture on The Application of E Views in Applied Econometrics

A special lecture was organized by the department of economics on ‘The Application of  EViews in Applied Econometrics’ on Monday, September 16, 2019.  Prof. C.R. Bishnoi, Head, Department of Economics delivered the lecture. All the faculty members, research scholar and students of department attended the lecture.

 Prof. Bishnoi explained the basic tools of EViews, e.g. working with EViews, importing data in EViews, generating new data series, drawing graphs, detecting outliers, etc.

He also trained participants to fit simple linear regression model with the help of EViews taking data of Indian economy and explained how to interpret the results.
