Report of Ground Interaction 

DATE – September 11, 2023

 

The Economics Society of IIS (Deemed to be University) hosted an engaging and lively ground interaction on 11th September 2023 at the IISU lawns. The event featured a range of interactive games and surprises, creating an atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie among the participants. The event was impeccably managed and well-planned by the dedicated members of the Economics Society council. The event boasted a variety of interactive games that kept the students engaged and challenged. These games included: The Whisper Challenge: Participants tried to guess phrases while wearing headphones, Guess the Price Challenge: Students tested their pricing knowledge in a fun and competitive environment, Word Sketch Challenge: A creative challenge where students had to sketch words or phrases for others to guess, Melody Trivia: A musical challenge that tested participants' knowledge of songs and melodies, Trade Game: An economic  barter game where participants engaged in trading various articles, Guess the Country Challenge: Participants identified countries based on their currencies. Winners of the various games were rewarded with prizes, which added an element of competitiveness and motivation to the event.

A section of the lawn was beautifully decorated, with one corner designed to captivate attention. A special stall was set up, offering roses with heartfelt notes attached to them and polaroids for sale. This stall added a sentimental touch to the event and allowed students to create memories. A lucky draw further heightened the excitement among the attendees. Students from various departments participated wholeheartedly, fostering a sense of unity and community within the university. 

The ground interaction event was a resounding success, and a memorable day filled with laughter and competition which contributed to a vibrant and memorable day for all involved.

The Economic Society of IIS (deemed to be university) looks forward to hosting more such events in the future, bringing students together for more moments of fun and interaction. The success of this event will undoubtedly serve as an inspiration for future initiatives.
