Motivational Talk

The Department of Economics organized a motivational talk on July 21, 2018 in the AV Hall from 1 p.m. onwards. The talk was presided over by Mr. Anup Mittal, Life & Executive Coach. Mr. Anup Mittal commenced the session with a discussion about fear and its causes. He went on to elaborate the advantages of the present generation as compared to the last few generations in terms of technology boom and changes in the environment. Also, the utilization of this advantage for our own benefit was a part of the discussion. The theme of the session was ‘You’ and he, time and again, focused on this word to convey his ideas. Then, he talked about ‘Purpose’ and persuaded the audience to think of a definite purpose in life and work towards it. He concluded the talk with a few tips on grooming oneself and be the person others look up to as a leader. The discussion was followed by an interactive question and answer session in which he answered various queries posed by the students. The audience thanked him for an inspiring and thought provoking session.
